Making the Most Of!

To make the most of the service, in Learning and Teaching, we need to ensure that staff and students are aware of the services we wish to provide through IPTV, including the recording, editing and archiving of broadcast and other appropriate materials.

While we need to consider any effects that the system will have on the technical infrastructure and support available we also need to consider any additional issues relating to Copyright.

The current ERA ERA+ license requirements apply for recordings of SCHEDULED programmes made.

However we are researching other requirements, including our Public Performance License and also any additional licensing (PRS) for Internal Network Broadcasting of programmes, music....
